Memorial Day Dance at Longbranch Improvent Marina

On 5.23.09, Memorial Day Weekend, CJ took me to dinner at Massimo's overlooking the Purdy Spit Bay. Very lovely evening meal out on the deck over the water, and once again I paid my own bill. From there we drove to the dance at Longbranch. The marina was filled with boaters tied together ( rafted they call it ) and a large hall was filled with music played by a great seventies band. CJ danced until he couldn't dance any more, and he didn't even dance all the dances. ........ A friend of CJ's danced with me many times. He had really had a lot to drink. His girl friend told me she received a black eye and a broken fingernail after one of her dances with him , and she was concerned about explaining this to her co-workers at the office where she was the manager..... During the dance an inebriated woman fell then complained about her neck hurting. CJ's friend sobered up to attend to this injured lady because he has a Captain's License which teaches emergency first aid. A friend of the injured lady took photos of this woman on the floor being cared for....... CJ does not drink, and he was sober driving me home safely......He did kiss me goodnight very lightly, knowing I was not inclined to do more of the same........msd
