His profile sounded upbeat and active, his photos robust and chipper but when he walked in the door, it was all downhill from there.  He was far from robust, instead was small boned and shorter than me.   His profile said he was 5'9" but he is just another man who does not know he has shrunk. His teeth were misaligned, which detracted a great deal from his smile........As we talked, his lethargy became more apparent. He could not tell me about how he spends his day or his weeks. Our communication was very strained because of the fact that he is very hard of hearing coupled with being hard to understand because of  a very small high pitched voice. .....He retired from the auto industry at age 52, and worked off and on doing other things in sales.  He has slowed down so much he is almost at a standstill.......At this time he has sold his large home and bought a smaller one to downsize.  He has no pets and does not want any until he cannot travel anymore.  Travel to him is to spend the winter in Mexico or Belize to be around the water activities.......I paid for my own meal, which he accepted.  I thanked him for traveling "such a great distance from Poulsbo to Gig Harbor" to meet me.  Upon his arrival he had complained about the terribly long trip:)).  He usually only meets women within ten miles radius. definitely not a man for me. The Tides once again has weeded out another unsuitable MATCH contact.......
