Date 1 this week

This gentleman was kind enough to meet me in my home town.  He was on time and waiting for me. He was shorter than his stated height, and this might be because he still believes he is the same height he was before he reached the old geezer state.........As far as I could determine he had made no special attempts at grooming, showing up in clothes he might throw on for the grocery store.........His photos on MATCH were not unattractive, however I was very aware that he did not show us his teeth in the photos.  I am learning that this is a very good clue that the closed mouth smiler has very bad teeth.  Sure enough, this date has misaligned top and lower jaw, with very brown and mottled teeth. Needed lots of dental work years ago.........This date has a Phd, and had been a university professor before retiring.  Brains apparently have nothing to do with self esteem or self confidence. This man appeared to have neither......... Our main topic of discussion for two hours was his recently failed relationship.  The woman was, in his hostile opinion, totally responsible for 1) their having a miserable relationship and 2) the failure of that miserable relationship...... On the other hand, I think it is safe to say he was totally responsible for the failure of our first meeting with no hope at all for a relationship.........Did I forget to say there was no chemistry between us:))
